If you wish to be a First-Year CIT, please do the following:
- Download and print copies of the following forms: (1) First-Year CIT Information Sheet, (2) CIT Envelope Checklist and (3) Three Recommendation Forms.
- Complete an online CJL Camper Application through CampInTouch and pay your deposit.
- Once your CampInTouch online application is completed, click on the "Forms" tab within your CampInTouch dashboard. This is where you must complete the CIT Information Sheet and upload your essay.
- Place the three recommendations (in sealed envelopes) in an oversized envelope. Tape the CIT Envelope Checklist to the backside of the envelope: check it off and sign it. Finally, mail your packet in to the business office. This must be postmarked by November 15.
If you wish to be a Second-Year CIT, please do the following:
- Download and print copies of the following forms: (1) CIT Envelope Checklist and (2) Second-Year CIT Information Sheet.
- Complete an online CJL Camper Application through CampInTouch and pay your deposit.
- Once your CampInTouch online application is completed, click on the "Forms" tab within your CampInTouch dashboard. This is where you must complete the CIT Information Sheet and upload your essay. This must be completed by November 15.
Payment
CIT applicants should pay their deposit online when they fill in their application. If a CIT session fills, any applicant who moves to the wait-list is eligible to have the deposit refunded.
Selection Process
First-Year CITs: Each CIT session has 12 slots reserved for first year CITs. All complete and satisfactory applications received during the October 1 to November 15 window will be considered equally. If the spots reserved for second year CITs are not filled, then those spots will be made available to prospective first year CITs.
Second-Year CITs: Each CIT session has 12 slots reserved for second year CITs. If there are more completed and satisfactory applications received by November 15 than there are spaces for second year CITs, the CITs will be chosen based on their first year CIT recommendation. If the spots reserved for first year CITs are not filled, then those spots will be made available to prospective second year CITs.
