A non-refundable deposit of $150 is due with your application. The deposit applies only to the camper named on the application and cannot be carried over beyond the current camping season.
One week, two weeks, or more? Younger or first-time campers may prefer a 1-week session or one of our mini camps. Older girls and experienced campers are encouraged to stay for two weeks or to combine sessions and stay even longer. Check out the Summer Sessions page for more information about our sessions.
Arrival and Pick-up: CJL has a drive-through drop-off and pick-up process. One week prior to a camper's session, an email will be sent with their assigned unit and arrival time. The assigned time slot will be between 9:30 AM and 12:00 PM Eastern Time, so that the girls have plenty of time to get settled into their unit by lunch. Parents will pick up their campers during the same assigned time slot on Closing Day. Parents must fill out a pick-up permission form if they would like their camper to be allowed to leave with someone other than the parent who dropped her off.
Payment Details
How to pay: Camp tuition and fees can be paid by credit card or eCheck when you register online. For further information, please see the payment information page.
Deposit fee: A $150 non-refundable deposit is due with your application. This deposit applies only to the camper named on the application and cannot be carried over beyond the current camping season.
Balance due: Your remaining balance is due by May 1. If registering after May 1, the total camp fee is due with your application.
Trading Post: It is recommended that parents deposit $50 per session in their camper’s Trading Post account. If you have not put money into your camper’s trading post account by May 1, then $50 will be automatically charged to the credit card on file. Any remaining money left at the end of the session will be refunded to your credit card within three business days of the end of the session. If your camper spends more than the deposit, then the credit card on file will be charged the difference.
Refunds: After May 1, there will be no refunds of camp fees except in limited circumstances according to camp refund policy (a copy of which will be provided on request). The application deposit remains non-refundable in all cases.
Rate Reductions and Other Bonuses
Early Bird Discount: Be an Early Bird! Register by October 15th to lock in the Early Bird rate. In addition, Early Birds will receive a free Early Bird T-Shirt at check-in. These limited-edition T-Shirts are different each year and are not for sale at the CJL Trading Post. That's not all - every Early Bird will automatically be entered into a drawing to win a free week of camp! Board and Camp Committee families and previous winners are not eligible for this drawing.
Sibling Discount: A 10% discount will be applied to the fee of a second camper from the same family. This discount is for one session only. The discount will be added by CJL's business manager after the applications are submitted.
Referral Bonus: You will receive a $50 discount for every first-time camper that you refer to CJL. This offer is unlimited! To receive the discount, the first-time camper must write the name of the referring parent or camper in the appropriate blank on her camper application. The first-time camper can split the $50 referral bonus between two people ($25 each) by writing two names on her application.
David Laney Scholarship
The David Laney Scholarship Fund, established in 2008, began awarding scholarships to eligible CJL campers in 2015. Since then, many young women have received scholarships to spend a week or two sleeping in tents, making new friends, and growing in confidence in the beautiful, natural setting of CJL. CJL Daisy Sponsorship (Pilot Year)
This full sponsorship covering all camp fees will be offered for the first time for summer 2027 to a limited number of girls who would not be able to attend camp without full financial assistance.
